Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. Matthew Matt James is the mixed race child of Manny James (of Jamaican descent) along with Patty James. His father is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. After graduating at Sanderson High School, in 2010 he enrolled at Wake Forest University and obtained an Economics Bachelor's Degree. James became famous after he became a Reality Star in The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was chosen to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor's season 25 becoming one of the very only African American male lead which was later aired in 2021. James is a perfect fit for the role as he has an attractive, well-rounded, large-bodied personality. The series ended when he chose Rachael Krkconnell to start an affair with the actress. In the 30th season (in 2021) of Dancing with the Stars, he competed with the famous dancing star Arnold. James as well as Arnold came 12th.
