Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1977) is an American actress best recognized for her role as Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. Along with receiving critical reviews, her role on the show garnered six Emmy Awards nominations in the category of best supporting actor. In the course of her career of 20 years, she gained recognition for her part in comedy and drama Another Period, a crime drama titled Tin Star. In movies, she is acclaimed for her role in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. Her voice has been used in animation films like Toy Story 4, Scoob!, and From Up on Poppy Hill. The first time she worked was as a model and worked in the field for a number of years until she made her debut on television with Undressed. Her first substantial role came in the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers following which was also recognized for her performance in the cult hit Firefly. She was in 2010 voted one of the hottest women in the world and the most attractive woman on the planet in America by Esquire magazine.
